This procedure is generally used to manually download and update your existing HGS Investor to a new release. You must have Quotes Plus already installed on your computer for this procedure to work.

GENERAL NOTES:

1. Reinstalling the HGS Investor software to fix a problem is very rarely the solution to a problem. 
2. If you are reinstalling into an existing HGS Investor software folder on your machine, your current Chart Views, Warehouse Views, Filters, Combos and User Groups will not be changed in any way.
3. If this installation will become your only copy of HGSI then you will need to export and import any personal filters, views, combos and user groups that you have created in your current copy of HGSI. We strongly recommend that after you have imported what you need you delete the old copy of HGSI to avoid confusion.
4. If you are not sure how to create a new folder follow the Detailed Procedure shown below.

Minimal Procedure

1. Login to the HGSI website and download the "HGS Investor Software Only (No Quotes Plus Database)"
2. Run it.

Detailed Procedure

Start by Logging into the HGS web site
www.highgrowthstock.com/memberarea

1. Select from the Downloads Section:
   "HGS Investor Software Only (No Quotes Plus Database)"
2. Follow the downloading instructions that appear on subsequent pages
3. Save the hgssetup.exe installer to your Desktop.
4. Double click on the desktop icon for hgssetup.exe that you just downloaded.
5. Follow the installation instructions that appear
