This procedure is usually selected when you add/remove commodities or mutual funds to/from the Quotes Plus database.

GENERAL NOTES:

1. Commodities requires a separate subscription. If you select this option without the subscription the downloader will give you an unauthorized message and keep you from downloading all data. 
2. For both Commodities and Mutual Funds you must also enable them in the QP Setup Options and the HGSI Update Options.  These steps are shown in the detailed procedure.

Minimal Procedure

1. Login to the HGSI website and download the HGSI+QP software
2. Run it, choose Add/Remove
3. Check the Mutual Fund and/or Commodities Option
4. After installation/removal make changes to the QP Setup Download options and to the HGSI Update Options

Detailed Procedure

Start by Logging into the HGS web site
www.highgrowthstock.com/memberarea

1. Select from the Downloads Section:
   "HGS Investor Software and Quotes Plus Database"
2. Follow the downloading instructions that appear on subsequent pages and "Save" the special download installer to your Desktop. (This is a very small file that is used to download the larger setup file)
3. Double click on the desktop icon for "Qp3HgsWebSetup.exe" that you just downloaded.
4. Click on the Run button to start the installation.
5. Follow the instructions shown below.

After adding/removing Commodities/Mutual Funds you must make changes to Quotes Plus Setup and to HGS Update.
