Add-on's are a source of additional or updated Filters, Views, Combos (FVC), User Groups or SmartGroups that are shipped with the product or added on after the product has shipped.  Follow the instructions below.

Good Housekeeping:  It is always wise to make a backup of HGSI or any other software before applying a change.

Instructions for Add-ons: 

1. Click the link below for the desired Add-on.
2. Click the Run button to start the download.
3. Follow the installer instructions that are given during the installation.
4. If HGSI is running in the background you will be told to close it.  (This is normal)
5. Restart HGSI to finish the installation

Filters-Chart Views-Warehouse Views Combo Rankings - 5/15/2012. 
Add-ons update all the Charting Views, Warehouse Views, Filters, Combo Ranks (FVC), that are included when HGS Investor V8 Software is installed.  They are located in the HGSI Classic and HGSI Strategies folders.

CAUTION: All HGSI filters, views, combos are provided for user reference. If you have made personal changes to these reference filters, views or combos those changes will be lost when you apply this Add-on.  To keep your personal changes drag a copy of the reference (FVC) to your User Folder before applying this Add-on.

Woodward and Brown Optional User Groups - 4/15/2012
If you are following the strategies of Woodward and Brown you may want to add these User Groups.  Please note that these groups will slightly increase the daily data update time due to the number of indexes that will be generated.

ETF User Groups - 11/22/11
These groups were removed from HGSI because maintenance of them was manual and couldn't be automated.  They are being provided on as As-Is bases.  Responsibility for maintenance is up to the user.
