Legend:
EPS Rank - Measures a companies EPS improvement over the past 3 years compared to all the other companies in the database. A 90 ranking means its 3 year earning record outperformed 90% of all companies in the database. Our ranking method is based on improvement and doesn't penalize companies that have negative earnings as a result, stocks having negative but improving earnings will have a decent EPS rank. This helps find emerging and turn around stocks.
RS Rank
- Measures a companies price change over the past 12 months compared to all the other companies in the database. A 90 ranking means its 12 month price record outperformed 90% of all companies in the database. A minimum of 120 trading days are required to compute the relative strength ranking. Increasing weight is applied to more recent quarters.
GRP Rank
- Compares the industry group price performance over the past 26 weeks to the other industry groups. A 90 ranking means it outperformed 90% of all the other industry groups. he Group Ranking is determined by generating indexes for each of the industry groups using an Equal Dollar Weighting and screening out securities that are less than $5.00.
ERG Rank - The sum of EPS Rank + RS Rank + Grp Rank. ERG values can run from 0 to 297. ERG values of 240 or more are considered strong stocks. ERG is a trademark of Ian Woodward.
