INDUSTRY GROUP changes
April 15, 2008
Effective May 1, 2008, the following changes to the "IM Industries", previously known as the "Industry Monitors 200" will be effective.
To return to this page at a later time, use the Information Button on the HGSI toolbar. select Learning Center then Announcements.
Changes are being made to keep our industry groups in alignment with changes in the economy and markets. Some companies are being broken out into new industries making it easier to see money flowing into different segments of the Energy and Materials Sectors. Some industries are undergoing name changes to better reflect the industry and some industries are being merged into similar industries.
NOTE: If you are accessing the QP database directly with QP Scans, COM or other software, the QP Short name has not been changed. New QP Short Names have been added for the new industries.
