Greetings and Welcome to this Week’s Review

This week felt like my childhood visits to Cedar Point Amusement Park.  Monday and Tuesday felt like I had climbed into the car for the Roller Coaster. Put my seat and shoulder harnesses on and then sat there as we were driven higher and higher to the peak of the tallest roller coaster.  The view of Lake Erie was fabulous as we enjoyed new highs.  Then suddenly, we went over the proverbial cliff, and free fell to the valley below—kind of like the market this week. Then bounced around the bottom, pulled back into the station to get in line, and do it again.

Does that describe your portfolio action this week?  It did mine.  Fortunately, my account blasted to new highs by Tuesday close, finally closing above the 200% gain for my portfolio since January 1, 2020.  Then Wednesday, after some positive movement at the open, It too fell off the cliff with my biggest losing day of the year.  Thursday and Friday, I started to recover, and by the end of the week, I was up about $100K on the week.  That was a WILD RIDE.

Please join me as I view the markets from a Top-Down Perspective.  I am an unpaid volunteer and try to share my market thoughts and demonstrate the tools I have used.  I have nothing to sell you.  I  am an open book.

Something happened to my sound over the last 15 minutes, near the video’s 75-minute mark; it became a little garbled.  I have elected not to re-record this.
